About the group

Theoretical research in optical quantum systems and their applications

The Theoretical Quantum Optics Group carries out research in theoretical physics with a focus on quantum systems, open-system dynamics, quantum correlations, entanglement, metrology, quantum thermodynamics, and quantum information.

The group is based at the Institute of Physics of the Federal University of Alagoas and contributes to the training of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, while also collaborating with researchers from other institutions.
